The superstar is currently promoting his LP – “The Ascension” and his 2 forthcoming releases “Face2Face 2.0” and “Rewindselectuptodate” on a nationwide tour.
Before TuFace took up the stage to start the autograph session, he was accompanied by Eniola Ositelu (the Marketing Manager of ICM) alongside his entourage, for an introduction with store managers, had a pep chat with staff of stores that sold his The Ascension CDs. They include Mr. Price, Bheerhugz Café, Bruno’s Place, Silverbird Cinemas and Ruff n Tumble.
He also took time out to grab a dessert at Melting Moments.
He took pictures with shoppers, store staff and store managers. After the autograph session, TuFace and his entourage hung out at Bheerhugz Café where he was catered to until he waved goodbye to all his fans.
The ICM stores mentioned above sold Ascension CDs and freebies for every purchase made. They include 2Face DVDs, CDs, dog tags. Shoppers that made purchases above N5,000 including the Ascension CDs, qualified for the lucky dip to win 15 Infinix Zero smart phones, Hennessy bag packs, Digifon speakers etc. Shoppers that bought only the CDs got it signed by 2Face and took selfies with him.
Temidayo took advantage of this opportunity to shop in ICM and got rewarded by meeting with 2Face. “I have bought items worth N20,000 at Mr.Price with his CD and I can’t wait to meet my idol,” he said. His wish was granted. His CD was signed by the ‘African Queen’ crooner and was even given the opportunity to sing one of TuFace’s songs as the iconic artiste watched on. He was also a winner of one of the Infinix Zero smart phones and other prizes as he was selected during the lucky dip too!
As a peace ambassador, TuFace used the mall as a medium to promote the “Vote Not Fight” campaign. ICM management were glad to help in promoting a good cause. The rationale behind the campaign was to encourage the youth to shun violent acts during elections but abide by the principles of a free and fair election. Other celebrities came to ICM to lend TuFace a hand in sending a strong message to the public. They included Weird MC, Kwam 1, Kenny Ogungbe, Kenny Saint Best, ID Ogungbe and a host of other artistes and radio OAPs....post by expdonaloaded
